Key Stage 1 Chicks Day 5
Key Stage 1 have been looking after 12 eggs. Five of them have hatched now into lovely chicks. The others won't hatch. We're keeping them for 2 weeks before passing them on to a free range farm.

Key Stage 1 have been looking after 12 eggs. One hatched last night and another hatched today. We're keeping them for 2 weeks before passing them on to our friends at Houghton Primary who keep chickens.
This is the last day we'll have the chicks. Tonight they're being collected to take to a lovely new home on a free range farm where they'll have lots more space to run around. They've been great fun to take care of. Thank you chicks!
