To encourage pupils to put into practice the school health priority of increasing our daily intake of fruit our Home Economics principal came up with the idea of a project making healthy and fruity ice cream. Have you ever tasted brown bread and banana ice cream - Mmmmm! S/2 classes were introduced to all sorts of new fruits combinations and healthier ways to reduce sugar in ice cream- and they developed new skills as well. Watch the results.
